Accountant & Assistant Reception Manager

– join the team at Hotel Nordbo

At Hotel Nordbo in Nuuk we are looking for a new colleague who is both good at numbers and has a heart for the guest experience. We are looking for an accountant with debtor/creditor experience who also wants to be part of life at the reception as an assistant reception manager.

This is the position for you who likes a varied everyday life – where one hour you are immersed in invoices and Spectra, and the next you are helping a guest with a smile, a key or a good tip for Nuuk.

What does the job involve?

You get to wear two hats – and that's exactly what makes the job exciting.

Bookkeeping – your primary focus

  • Keep track of debtors and send out invoices
  • Register and manage creditors
  • Daily accounting and reconciliations
  • Reconciliation of revenues from Spectra
  • Assist guests and partners with payment questions
  • Solve various administrative tasks in everyday life

Reception – the human part

  • Be an assistant reception manager and deputy
  • Assist with shift schedules and daily coordination
  • Welcoming guests, checking in and out
  • Work in Spectra and keep an overview of bookings
  • Support and spar with the rest of the reception team
  • Help create the good, personal Nordic atmosphere

The position is full-time with varying working hours and weekend shifts – just like life in a hotel is.

Who are you?

  • We imagine that you:
  • Have experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting
  • Preferably familiar with Spectra – or have the courage to learn it
  • Likes both numbers and people
  • Would like an assistant manager responsibility at the reception
  • Is calm and solution-oriented – even when things are busy
  • Speaks and writes Danish and English (Greenlandic is a plus)

The most important thing for us is not a long list of titles, but that you are the type of person you can safely entrust with both finances and guests.

What can we offer?

  • A daily routine with variety and lots of contact with people
  • A workplace where the tone is informal and helpful
  • Training in Spectra and our workflows
  • Good colleagues who lift as a team
  • Salary according to qualifications and staff benefits at the hotel
