New staffed reception – more presence, more service
From September 1, 2025, we will open a new, staffed reception directly at Hotel Nordbo City. This means even easier check-in and check-out as well as personal service right at your door.
The reception will be your permanent point of contact during your stay – whether you need help, have questions, want recommendations for Nuuk or want to purchase additional services. Here you will meet a smile and a helping hand – always close at hand.
Budget room
The budget rooms are simply furnished with a single bed, 1 chair and coffee table as well as a kitchenette.
Studio apartments
All our studios are furnished with single bed, well equipped mini kitchen. The studio apartments are perfect for longer stays for the solo traveler.
Studio apartment for 2 people
The studio apartment for 2 people is furnished with a double bed with 2 single beds and with well-equipped mini kitchen.
2-room apartment for 2 people
2-room apartment furnished with living room, well-equipped kitchen, dining area and separate bedroom. The bedroom consists of a double bed with 2 single beds.
2-room apartment up to 3 pers.
2-room apartment furnished with living room with the possibility of 1 extra bed, well-equipped kitchen, dining area and separate bedroom.
2-room apartment up to 4 pers.
2-room apartment with the possibility of 2 extra beds, furnished with a living room, bedroom and kitchen with 4 dining areas.
2-room apartment up to 5 pers.
Spacious 2-room apartments for up to 5 people, separate living room with the possibility of 3 extra beds, bedroom and well-equipped kitchen.
Breakfast

We now serve a cozy, portioned breakfast for our guests - with freshly baked sourdough buns, nut butter, jam, pastry, Greenlandic lamb sausage and musk salami.
We also serve a warm egg dish and Chia porridge. For breakfast we serve orange juice, Kaffivik coffee and Greenlandic tea.
Everything is served at the table in quiet surroundings in the middle of Nuuk – with time to enjoy the morning.
We are open every day from 6 to 10, of course with reservations for conferences or parties.
Laundry room at Hotel Nordbo City
If you are staying in Nuuk for a longer period of time, it is also good to know that Hotel Nordbo City has a laundry where you can wash your own clothes.
In the laundry room you will find both a washing machine and a dryer.
Laundry is free for our guests.
As part of our environmental commitment, we have chosen to streamline cleaning at Hotel Nordbo City. Therefore, there is no daily cleaning in our apartments as standard.
As standard, we provide weekly cleaning of your apartment.
If you want additional cleaning, please contact our reception. We are more than happy to arrange extra cleaning at no extra charge.
This initiative is part of our efforts to reduce the environmental impact of daily cleaning and use resources more efficiently.
By doing this, we can reduce the consumption of cleaning agents, which is good for our beautiful nature here in Greenland.
